Brazil is not the best team for this year’s grand prix. Most of the team fielded younger and new faces. Brazil, like other team, is still in the process of adjustment with their players coming from different pro league outside and inside Brazil. And coach Ze is still trying to figure out who are the best starters. Although Thailand did well in 3 sets, Brazil just did not play well. And I just hope Thailand can sustain their momentum and finish within the top 6. Currently they are at 10th place with 1-4 record.

not to take away anything from team thailand here. hats off to them! they fully deserve this win because of their determination, great/smart plays and floor defense. did come out swinging pretty hard at the beginning of set 1 up to the last set. but, i couldn’t help noticing the kind of performance brazil showed in this match. they were physically there but the mind is wondering off as if they were in a trance. also, there energy is somewhat low in some instances like something or someone had squeeze it out of their bodies ?. again, good job and congratulations thai girls!
